Welcome to the Murfreesboro Writers Group

The purpose of the Murfreesboro Writers Group is to create a fun and encouraging environment for professional, novice and amateur writers to have their works critiqued and their overall writing skill developed. The group operates in a mutually beneficial reading and critiquing practice, where in exchange for having your works read and critiqued by authors, you also read and critique the work of everyone else in attendance.

We meet every Wednesday at 6:00 pm at the Linebaugh Library in the upstairs board room. Visitors are welcome and you are not required to bring any of your work if it is your first time visiting. Feel free to come in and observe to determine if this is a good fit for you.

If you would like to receive updates about upcoming events, announcements, and selections of original work from writers group members, feel free to register for our weekly newsletter.
